31 Aug '08. After my climbing plan for the Labor Day weekend fell through unexpectedly, I made a quickly planned getaway with Bingram and Veronica to Anacortes, WA. We went on a guided kayaking tour around Burrows Island, which is just to the west of Fidalgo Island (on which Anacortes sits). We enjoyed nice weather, picturesque marina & water views, some old town charm, calm water, and good food.
