13 Sep '09. We approached the north side of Mt.Baker's Coleman Glacier over Heliotrope Ridge. Not a long hike, but pretty exciting--and really challenging in places--due to the need to ford several fast-moving and deeply-refreshingly-cold creeks. The reward at the end was great, though.
