Dec 31st... What better idea than a snowshoe hike? :-) This is a little off Stevens Pass. The weather was crisp, with good light for pictures, tons of fresh, pristine snow!.. It was a lot of fun, especially coming down the hill with the snowshoes. The snow felt like mashed potatoes, almost *fluid* underneath your feet. :-) In the end most of us got wet and started shivering, but it was all worthwhile.
