28 Jan - 4 Feb 2007. I thought I needed to get away from the typical dreary Seattle weather this time of year... I wasn't even thinking about Mexico, but I chanced upon this guided sea kayaking tour (organized by a Canadian outfit called Pacific Rim Paddling), and it sounded like the perfect getaway for me: an outdoor/wilderness experience, a bit of an adventure, sun & water. And indeed, it proved to be totally worthwhile...

Chango > Loreto. Really small town--about 11 thousand people, but has started to develop fast recently.

Chango > The night before and after the tour we stayed at this hotel. It is the best in town, and pretty pricey for such an 'out of the way' place, but there were still some things to be desired.
