22 Sep '07. I went on a weekend trip with the same Meetup group as the July whitewater rafting. This time it was far from wild (although the other raft somehow flipped over), but with the camping experience it was pretty nice. Tieton River flows east of the Cascades, toward Yakima, WA. It is dammed, so usually it is more like a creek, but they release a lot of water this time of year, and it becomes (supposedly) Class 3 for rafting.
